Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. I do not remember who said that first but for me, it seems to be the first step to a beautiful complexion. Theoretically, cleaning your face with cleansing fluid and a clarifying toner would be that first step. But will assume that’s already a house rule. : )

Now, back to the exfoliation process. I personally like to exfoliate twice a week, and I always love to mix it with a little bit of my Galateis Douceur from Lancome. This way I am absolutely sure my skin won’t irritate. After that, I always apply my Visionnaire skin corrector from Lancome, which I obsessively use every night, even on the eye area.  It is just one the most amazing, effective and gentle products I have ever used. Your skin stays hydrated and you can immediately notice the difference on evenness, pores and wrinkles.

The next step is self tanning. Last summer, I discovered an amazing self tanner from Clarins. It’s called Lisse Minute Autobronzant and that is what I always use twice a week, right after I exfoliate and I apply my Vissionare skin corrector. It is divine! Perfectly blends in and NEVER leaves traces on my clothes. NEVER! And this is definitely a product I could never live without. By the way, Clarins also has a body self tanner called Mousse Exquise Auto-Bronzante SPF15. Never tried it, but seems promising: a self-tanner, a moisturizer and sun care with SPF.

Maybe you've noticed, there is another product on my list that seems to please the feminine audience lately. And that is Clarisonic Mia 2. A sort of an electric brush that uses a micro-massage motion, to gently remove the impurities. It promises to Cleanses 6 times better than with your hands alone. Never tried it but it’s on my list.

As I mentioned, I exfoliate two times a week but when I’m not, I LOVE to use in the morning Vitamin C Serum from Mario Badescu. It is perfect if you want to “keep away” free radicals and it is also gives you a lighter and brighter complexion since it contains 7.5% Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). There is also another addictive and highly effective product from Mario Badescu that I recently discovered: the Drying Lotion. Your best friend if you want to start fighting against an outraged pimple that’s planning to ruin your evening / date / party… You know, when those shameless pimples always tend to appear.

Remember Visionnaire? As I told you,it is perfect for the eye area. But right now, I would like to stop for a moment at another product from Clarisonic called Opal Sonic Infusion System. That is something you might consider to use if you have a regular eye cream and you want to make sure it reaches to the deepest layers of your skin by gently tapping the skin around your eye at 125 sonic movements per second. It comes with its own serum but I don’t see you why you can’t use your own. Still never tried it. Still on my list.

Hmmm… Now, we cannot face the Spring without a perfectly hydrated body, can’t we? And who can do that better than La Mer? Well… nobody. You see, La Mer just released a new body moisturizer, The Reparative Body Lotion, a time eraser that delivers the anti-aging power of a serum. This body lotion is Rich in Miracle Broth™, sea-born ferments and potent anti-oxidants that replenishes moisture, helps even skin tone and helps protect against future damage.

Since beautiful complexion and cracked lips never go hand in hand, my best remedy against this annoying “phenomenon” is Stick Nutrix Levres from Lancome. It acts in just a few seconds and it gives your lips just a little bit of shine. If you use this, you won’t be needing a lip gloss anymore.

Last, but definitely not least, your hair. And how I call a beautiful face without a beautiful hair? A DISASTER! In this case, there is a product that I always recommend to all of my friends who complain about their damaged hair: David Mallett’s Masque No. 1: L’Hydratation. It’s the ultimate spa treatment for hair that needs moisture, strength, and revival. You can apply the mask to cleansed and towel-dry hair, paying special attention to dry areas and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. When ready, comb through and rinse the hair thoroughly. And that is all you need.

So, these were my 12 beauty products to FACE this SPRING. Can’t wait to see which one is your favorite. : ) Have a beautiful Spring, everyone!
